Holiday Cheer: Day 43

Well, I didn't do anywhere near the amount of cooking and baking that I wanted to do this season, partly due to a non-working oven! But its been a lovely Advent. I hope you are having a good one as well!


These last three Holiday Cheer posts will just be the usual Advent activities. We're pretty busy in real life these days, and time is pretty much up for new ideas. Meet us back here after Christmas Day though, because we have 12 days of Christmas to celebrate!

Advent Activities:

- Watch Holy Heroes Advent Adventures videos.

- Light the candles on the Advent wreath and read today's liturgy.

- Make and hang today's Jesse tree ornament, a carpenter's hammer for Joseph, who trusted God that Mary had conceived a child through the Holy Spirit, and for his unique role in the salvation story. Matthew 1:19-25

- Say a decade of the rosary.

- Open another door on our Advent calendars.
