But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ and
manifests through us the odor of the knowledge of him in every place.
For we are the aroma of Christ for God among those who are being saved
and among those who are perishing," ~ 2 Corinthians 2:14-15

Getting things done - Today, sit down with a cup of coffee or tea, have the kids sit at the table with you and do homework, color, play with playdo, etc. while you make a Christmas card & gift list. Put on some music, talk with the kids about the people you're listing, make it enjoyable! That's it for today!
Homefront - Today we are deep cleaning the den: vacuum, dust, wash windows, wipe down entryways & light switches, even wash the upholstery on the recliners. Everyone will have a task, we'll put on some fun music, and get it done fairly quickly by working together. {By the way, sometimes this works beautifully and we work very quickly and smoothly and even have fun cutting up as we work. Other times, of course, the kids simply bicker the whole time over who has what work and how unfair it is. Just keepin it real!}
Family & Fun - My daughter wants to save everything to recycle as a potential craft. It is great for the planet, but secretly drives me crazy. The last thing I want to do is store more stuff, especially for "just in case we can do something with it"! I changed the porch lightbulb a couple of days ago and she insisted on saving the old one. Argh. But hey! I found this to do with her today, which we'll put on the kids' Thanksgiving table for decoration:
I found this at the super-fun Crafts by Amanda.
This marble leaf painting looks fun for both Bill and Jill. Get the how-to at the inspiring site of Jeanne Winters.
Finally, I had to show you one more kids' table setting that I found (see more from yesterday)- this is so fabulous! It was created by Lisa Storms and you can find instructions at Fiskars.
Faith - God is good! What are you thankful for this year? I would love to hear about all of your blessings of the past year.
Have a Blessed Day,
P.S. We'll be trying out recipes this weekend, and putting them up here!
