"Let them thank the Lord for such kindness, such wondrous deeds for mere mortals.
Let them offer a sacrifice in thanks, declare His works with shouts of joy."  ~ Psalm 107:21-22

Okay I usually post at 7 a.m. but I slept in quite a bit this morning! We have been keeping a child that gets up for the school bus while its still dark and I have been getting up with him. Today it caught up to me and I fell back asleep for hours! So sorry, and let's jump right in:

Getting things done & Family & Fun - Today tasks are fun and can be done with the kids! Today we are printing out the table setting and table decor. I have found some great resources for this!

At Alpha Mom, you can print out these great interactive place settings for kids - a coloring place mat, packet for holding crayons, and coloring napkin holder. How cute! Find the printables and lots of other great Thanksgiving ideas at Alpha Mom.

These Thanksgiving nut cups would go great at the kids' place settings as well. Kids can write what they are thankful for on the turkey leaves, then glue them to the cup with glue dots. The kits for these are sold at the wonderful Pebbles in my Pocket.

I just discovered the Cute & Crafty blog, and there are so many delightful printables! Here is a kids' place setting set that you can download.

HGTV has these Thanksgiving place cards. They are in pdf form, so you can fill in the names of your guests, then print!

There are a few different nice place cards to print, such as this turkey card, at Internet Family Fun.

There are some nice place cards in Thanksgiving colors to print out from Pastiche Family Portal.

Here is a whole collection of coordinating Thanksgiving table printables for download! I am finding all kinds of great sites. This is from Paper Glitter, which is such a fabulous printables site!

Here is another whole set of coordinating Thanksgiving printables at a site I already know and love, Hostess With the Mostess.

I found a useful article on How to Inexpensively Dress up the Thanksgiving Table at Associated Content.

Homefront - I am enjoying these few days of overseeing the kids. Yesterday my daughter cleaned her room completely. Today, in addition to our regular chores, I am overseeing my oldest son clean his room thoroughly.

Food - Today I am sharing the recipe for my favorite cookies ever! They are chewy gingerbread cookies, with a nice strong molasses flavor, and they include gooey chocolate chips. Yum-o! Check it out in its own post.

Have a Blessed Day,
