Holiday Cheer: Day 35

{If you are new to this blog, welcome! If you are new to 45 Days of Faith, Family, & Fun,

Jack grabbed my camera and went into the woods near our house. He took lots of great pictures and this one is my favorite, possibly because I so love pine trees and this looks so beautiful with snow all over the top of it.

Can you believe we only have ten days until Christmas?!

Advent Activities:

- Watch Holy Heroes Advent Adventures videos.

- Light two purple candles and one pink candle & read today's liturgy.

- Make & hang today's Jesse tree ornament, a hot ember for Isaiah when he sees angels around the throne of the Lord and one of them takes a hot ember and touches it to Isaiah's lips. He is then able to go forth, forgiven from sin, and deliver the Word of God. Isaiah 1:10-20, 6:1-13, 9:1-7

- Say a decade of the rosary together.

- Open another door on the Advent calendars.

Getting things done:

There is nothing official on the calendar for today, but since we are hosting Christmas dinner this year we will be cleaning the house.

Food:

Check out these delicious Toffee Cheesecake Cookie Bars I just posted on the Examiner site!

God Bless!
